Applications - NewView™

Micro Mirror One micro mirror is activated and measured by changing the phase during the measurements. During the measurement, the neighboring mirrors have been disturbed by the active mirror. These small disturbances can be measured absolutely by using ZYGO's FDA High 2G algorithm.

Cheek cell Cell was separated from the surrounding. Volume and average height is calculated.

Micro structured Surface Segmented in the middle. Volume below the middle plane is calculated.

Scratch on Glass Durch die duktile Eigenschaft hat sich das Glas aufgeworfen.

Etched Structure Volume and average depth are calculated.

Valve Seat Ground and polished surface of a valve seat, as measured by a NewView™ Optical Profiler. Image was created by combining multiple measurements, over a 10 mm area, using the Stitching feature of ZYGO's MetroPro® software.

Disc structure Next to the 3d image of the surface we can see the 3d spectrum. In the slope at the bottom we can see a structure which is impossible to see in the height data.

Fly Eye One segment of the eye can bee seen. From the segment the best fit sphere is removed.
