World-Standard Interferometric Metrology Systems.
Precision Optical Design, Fabrication, Coating, and Assembly.
PTI™ 250
The PTI™ 250 line is a family of small-aperture interferometers that provide full 3D surface and wavefront maps, and radius of curvature measurements, of lenses and lens systems. These systems are true ZYGO interferometers, and are the first small-optics interferometers that correlate with measurements made by ZYGO's world-standard GPI™ and VeriFire™ systems. They are equally well suited for process control in high-volume production, or demanding research in an R&D lab. A complete line of accessories for 6-mm, 1-inch, and 2-inch apertures is available.
VeriFire™ AT
The Ring of Fire™ illumination system and high-performance digital CCD are the basis of the VeriFire™ AT's interferometer image. ZYGO's new artifact suppression technology practically eliminates the 'bullseyes' caused by spurious interference in standard point-source interferometers. Save analysis time and increase your measurement accuracy with this high-end metrology instrument.
VeriFire™ MST
ZYGO's patented data acquisition methods enable simultaneous measurement of front and back surfaces, thickness variation (including wedge) and homogeneity of polished parallel plates. No part preparation or messy coatings are necessary. And in addition to these time-saving features, you still get all of the existing measurement capabilities of ZYGO's GPI™ interferometer line.
GPI™ Family
The GPI™ family of interferometers provides noncontact measurement of high-precision flat and spherical reflective surfaces, and transmitted wavefront quality of optical components and assemblies. Sub-nanometer resolution and precision are attributes of the finest noncontact optics measuring system in the world. ZYGO's MetroPro® software allows you to view surfaces with single slice profiles, 2D and 3D plots or just the numeric measurement data. You can also use any of the radius of curvature measurement options for the most complete information on your spherical surfaces.
GPI™ Expanded Wavelength Capabilities
Do you need a GPI™, but not at 633 nm? Perhaps you need to test in the ultraviolet range for high-precision measurements on small lenses. Maybe you need an infrared interferometer to test surfaces with large departures, or to test optics that don't transmit well in the visible range. Perhaps your optics need to be tested in transmission at the specific design wavelength. For all of these situations, and others, ZYGO's precise phase-shifting interferometer family has expanded to include several additional wavelengths.
Large Aperture Components
Expand the capability of your GPI™ or VeriFire™ to a large-aperture (12 to 32-inch) system, in either FlashPhase™ or phase-measuring capacity. Add a MUX cube (beam path switch), and the system can still be used at its original aperture size without having to rearrange components.
Oberflächenmesstechnik NewView™ 7000 Series
The extremely versatile NewView™ series of non-contact 3D optical profilers, with sub-nanometer z resolution, enables rapid and precise surface texture and topography measurements of a wide range of optical components and surfaces. On smooth or rough surfaces, the NewView™ enables quick and accurate 3D measurements over areas up to 21.59 x 21.85 mm, or larger with field-stitching.
Precision Optics and Coatings
ZYGO's Optics group is renowned for fabrication of precision plano and spherical surface optics and components ranging in size from as small as 8 mm to larger than 1 meter. We produce a wide range of world-class optical components including L-mirrors, monolithic stages, and straightedges. Our integrated assembly capability provides kinematic mounting, beam-steering flexures, and state-of-the-art metrology to ensure alignment and performance-specific solutions. ZYGO Advanced Thin Films, our thin-film coating division, produces metallic and high-efficiency dielectric coatings for transmissive or reflective applications in the ultraviolet, visible, and infrared regions of the spectrum from 190 nm to 16 μm.
Optical Design & Assembly
Now you can take full advantage of ZYGO's knowledge and experience by outsourcing your optics design and assembly projects to Zygo Optical Systems - a division dedicated to being a top-quality source for optical, opto-mechanical, and opto-electronic design and assembly needs. There's no need to expend the considerable time and expense of developing in-house optical design and assembly capabilities and resources when you can take full advantage of ZYGO's years of optics design and manufacturing experience, and responsive production systems. Zygo Optical Systems has design and prototyping facilities in Costa Mesa, CA and production manufacturing facilities at our Optical Assembly Center in Tucson, AZ.
